One of the best ways to make the most of your car's driveline is to make sure that it is set up properly, and stays that way!
Whether using factory parts or aftermarket go-fast goodies, having the chassis and suspension properly set up under your ride will not only give you better performance, but it'll also help things last longer too!
It has been widely-known that if you want to plant some performance to the road AND keep the rearend under your ride, setting up the differential with the proper parts and angles is just as important as the gear ratio that resides within the housing. Have you ever considered how much the rear axle moves around under hard acceleration, or how much the change in angles affects the performance and longevity of your ride?
Setting up the proper pinion angle with the rest of the drivetrain keeps unwanted resonance and vibration from hindering that enjoyable ride, and ensuring that those angles stay the same will help when the enjoyment gets much faster paced. This short video provided by BMR Suspension helps illustrate how to find those important settings and what you can do to keep them. Go to www.bmrsuspension.com for more info.
