Tickets for the 2014 OPTIMA® Ultimate Street Car Invitational, taking place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the first time, are now available for purchase online. The OPTIMA Invitational will bring together a diverse field of 100 competitors; the largest number of competing vehicles in the event’s seven year history. The 2014 Ultimate Street Car Invitational field is based on the results of its successful national series of OPTIMA Invitational Qualifying events and the corresponding MAVTV network series called OPTIMA’s Search for the Ultimate Street Car.
“The crowd at this year’s OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational is sure to be the largest ever, as both competitors and spectators will be able to take advantage of a larger facility closer to downtown Las Vegas and the SEMA Show,” said Cam Douglass, director of marketing for OPTIMA Batteries. “With 100 of the country’s highest-performing street cars pushing the limits this year at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, these tickets will be in high demand. We are looking forward to hosting a large crowd of enthusiastic fans.”
Each ticket costs $30 and includes one 2014 OPTIMA Invitational t-shirt that guests will receive at the event. Bring your ticket to the event for guaranteed admission. Gates open at 8:30 a.m. on November 8, with competition events beginning at 9:30 a.m. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, located just 15 minutes north of downtown Las Vegas, is easily accessible for attendees of the SEMA Show, and is the perfect competitive venue for the year's most exciting street car event.
The OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational offers something for every motorsports fan, with the BFGoodrich Hot Lap Challenge, Ridetech Street Challenge Autocross, Wilwood Disc Brakes Speed Stop Challenge and the Lingenfelter Performance and Design Challenge all bringing different aspects to each participant’s overall score. It will be broadcast on the MAVTV Network, but to see even more of the action and excitement now, check out video clips from past events on the OPTIMA Batteries YouTube page, visit the OPTIMA Invitational website to see driver profiles and news, or visit the OPTIMA Batteries Facebook page to join the conversation.
