Petty-signed Muscle Car stamps

The U.S. Postal Service is auctioning a set of Muscle Car stamps and stamped cards signed by Richard Petty and Kyle Petty on eBay. The auction is scheduled to end Feb. 26.

The stamps were originally released on Feb. 22, 2013. Offered are two full sheets of 20 Forever stamps, the third in the series of “America On The Move.” The five stamp designs (a 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1967 Shelby GT500, 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda and a 1970 Chevelle SS) feature the artwork of Tom Fritz, of Newbury Park, California, under the art direction of Carl Herrman of North Las Vegas, Nevada.

Also included is a set of 20 “America On The Move” ‘’50s Fins and Chrome premium stamped postal cards (issued in 2008). The 6-inch by 4-inch cards feature the stamp art of Carl Hermann and painting from renowned automotive illustrator Art Fitzpatrick. They feature five different designs depicted a 1959 Cadillac Eldorado, a 1957 Studebaker Golden Hawk, a 1957 Pontiac Safari, a 1957 Lincoln Premiere, and a 1957 Chrysler 300C.
