Spring Break Shootout Looms

It’s back to Bradenton for the NMRA as the 20th annual Nitto NMRA Spring Break Shootout will be held at Bradenton Motorsports Park in less than a month. The event kicks off March 6 and carries through to final eliminations on Sunday, March 9.
 Many competitors are looking for a respite from the wintry weather that has battered the country and Bradenton usually offers that relief. The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals series has a little bit of everything for the Ford racing fan. Classes include Street Outlaw, TREMEC True Street and Edelbrock Renegade, presenting something for everyone.
 Spring Break Shootout fans are in for a special treat this year as Ford factory cars compete in the Ford Racing Cobra Jet Showdown. One of the largest gatherings of these purpose-built cars is expected. Several times each day, the Snakes slither to the starting line for a high speed show that is sure to delight everyone in attendance.
 In addition to the chase down the 1320, there is the UPR Products All-Ford car show with 50 different awards presented each day. A manufacturer’s midway will allow you to catch up on the newest and greatest parts to get your car ready for its first event. A popular burnout contest will return to offer yet another popular aspect to this year’s show.
