Owner: Ed Aprile

“I have owned the car since it was brand new. It was the first six-speed in the state of Florida. It has gone through a complete makeover with all the work being done by Mr. Norm’s Garage in Hudson, Florida,” Ed Aprile tells us.

Updates and add-ons to the Challenger include a genuine 1970 Shaker scoop mounted to a new hood; a complete Mr. Norm’s shifter with original 1970 pistol grip shifter; custom woodgrain dash; redline tires mounted on vintage American Racing rims; a custom two-chamber Flowmaster exhaust with 1970 retro tips; a retro 1970 Go Wing and 197s-style side stripes with Challenger emblems. Under hood, the motor includes strut bars from Richard Petty’s Garage.

It bears the signatures of Mr. Norm Kraus (of Chicago’s Grand Spaulding Dodge and now Mr. Norm’s Garage fame) and automotive designer Chip Foose.
