Steele Rubber Products will be sponsoring the Master Builder Award in conjunction with the World of Wheels, AutoRama and Cavalcade of Customs Car Shows, which kicks off November 23-25 in Houston, Texas. The Master Builder award will be given to one outstanding vehicle built with little or no professional help.
“Steele is honored to sponsor this award because it rewards the efforts of real car guys,” said Matt Agosta, president of Steele Rubber Products. “It’s aligned with our company’s history and values.” Last year, Steele Rubber Products sponsored  the Preservation Award.
“We love to see cars built by guys in their garages at home. This is what the industry is about and how Steele Rubber Products was founded. The Preservation Award last year went to a great builder in Michigan and we thought this year we want to reward others in the industry. We want to let them know they are being recognized for keeping the hobby alive,” Agosta added.
Steele Rubber Products has been manufacturing quality rubber parts and weatherstrip for classic vehicles and hot rods for 55 years. It is a family-owned and operated business in Denver, North Carolina.
AutoRama will travel to 15 locations across 12 states and two countries. Each show will feature its own schedule of events and thousands in cash and awards. There is a $50 entry fee for vehicles competing in Houston, but no additional fees to compete for the Steele Rubber Products Master Builder Award.
