The Diecast Toy Exchange is hosting a Matchbox Collector's show at the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum (AACA) on Sunday, September 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event will allow visitors to add to or begin a Matchbox collection as all cars will be for sale. Vendors will be showcasing toy cars from the entire history of Matchbox -- from the first car in the 1950's all the way through present day vehicles.  To support this event, the AACA Museum is offering $5.00 admission (half the normal admission price) to encourage visitors to attend this one-day show.

This Matchbox toy show is a top notch collector's event. More than 40 of the best Matchbox dealers from the East Coast will be on hand with a half a million dollars of cars for visitors and enthusiasts to enjoy. Among the cars for sale will be a special limited edition Model A Hot Rod specifically decorated for this show and limited to 72 pieces.  For those extremely eager collectors, an early admission plan to visit the vendor booths will be available from 7-9 a.m. for $20 per person.

First time visitors and returning guests will be able to enjoy more than 100 full size antique cars, buses and motorcycles while at the AACA Museum. The current featured exhibit is Leading the Pack:  100 years of Indy Pace and Race cars celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Indianapolis 500.

The Antique Auto Museum at Hershey, a member of the Smithsonian Institute Affiliations Program, displays beautifully restored automobiles, buses and motorcycles in unique life-like scenes representing the 1900's - 1970's in a cross-country journey from New York to San Francisco. This museum, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, is one of the nation's newest and largest automotive museums.  The Museum is located just off Route 39, one mile west of Hersheypark Drive in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
