When the Mecum auction rolls into Kansas City later this month, buyers will have a great opportunity to add quality cars to their existing or start-up collections. One example is this 1969 Camaro Restomod, powered by a 383 stroker engine.
The car has experienced a complete frame-off rotisserie restoration that included re-working the engine bay for the 383. The engine is mated to a Tremec five-speed transmission.
No detail was spared in the complete custom interior. An Air Ride suspension was put in place to support the beefed-up ride. Boze wheels (17-inch front, 18-inch rear) shield the Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes that stop the car. There is a custom dual exhaust beneath the car, which received a custom paint job.
The car will be sold as Lot S75, selling on Saturday. The event will run from April 24-26 at Kansas City Convention Center’s Bartle Hall in Kansas City, Missouri. Complete information can be found at www.mecum.com
