The excitement and buzz continues to build as Dana Mecum’s 25th Original Spring Classic Auction is fast approaching. More than 2,000 vehicles and over 1,200 pieces of Road Art will take over the Indiana State Fairgrounds May 15-20, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Mecum’s famous annual Spring Classic auction has long been known as the collector car auction epicenter, and this year is no exception, as some of the world’s most desirable and collectible cars will be crossing the block next week in Indianapolis.  The auction action begins on what Mecum has dubbed “Super Tuesday”, May 15 with over 300 cars offered.  Highlights for opening day include 22 cars offered at no reserve from the Charlie Brooks Collection, as well as 24 vehicles from the collection of well-known Indianapolis car dealer Ray Skillman. You will find some examples of the Skillman collection here, but complete details on these and all auction cars can be found at www.mecum.com
Dana Mecum’s 25th Original Spring Classic Auction is open to the general public with tickets available at the gate for only $15. Gates open daily at 8 a.m. Eastern Time. Discovery’s Velocity Network will broadcast 32 hours of live coverage from the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
