The automotive industry’s top pro builders will descend on Fairplex in Pomona, California, for the Inaugural O’Reilly Auto Parts Street Machine & Muscle Car Nationals presented by Lucas Oil March 22- 23. Fairplex will transform into an auto mecca showcasing high-performance muscle cars, pro-touring cars and street machines, as well as the Pro Builders Pavilion, a dazzling showcase of the hottest magazine feature cars from the country’s top builders.
“We are thrilled to have so many big name builders bringing their best work to Fairplex for a weekend of four-wheeled excitement,” said Street Machine & Muscle Car Nationals Marketing Manager, Jessica Kirchner. “From car buffs to casual enthusiasts, everyone is going to enjoy the chance to see these vehicles up close – they really are automotive works of art.”
Steve Strope of Pure Vision’s stable includes the 2013 SEMA Show award-winning TT Camaro, a 1972 Camaro high-speed freeway hauler with a 1400hp Nelson Racing twin-turbo engine and Aston Martin Tungsten paint. Pure Vision will also showcase a ’68 Concept Charger, a classic muscle car featuring a smoking 572 c.i.d. Hemi engine and custom prototype interior.
Alan Palmer of Palmer Customs will offer Chris Gibbs’ new wide-body Pro Touring ’69 Camaro fully equipped with supercharged LS power, and featuring styling cues from the Gen 5 Camaro. Also on display will be Ryan Venterini’s ’65 Mustang and Sean Cassar’s ’59 Corvette.
Troy Martin of Full Scale Hot Rods & Customs will wow car fans checking out his ’51 Ford Station Wagon, on a Corvette C6 chassis.
Adam Berg of Setting Trendz will showcase skilled fabrication work on his decked-out early ‘70s El Camino.
