Are you ready for one of the coolest, craziest, biggest car shows of the year, including thousands of classic and exotic cars, hundreds of Elvis impersonators, 50 car clubs and nearly 100,000 auto enthusiasts?

Plan on attending the Auto Fair at Charlotte Motor Speedway on April 3-6 -- one of the world’s largest automotive extravaganzas. Here are just some of the things planned for this year's Auto Fair!

The very last vehicle driven by Elvis through the gates of Graceland – in which the very last photograph of him was taken.  The vehicle is currently being preserved in Charlotte and will be unveiled on March 25th, with Elvis fan Dale Earnhardt Jr at the wheel. There will also be an official preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, sanctioned by Elvis Presley Enterprises – with hundreds of participants expected.  The winner goes on to the finals at Graceland!

The 50th anniversary of the Mustang display will feature five generations of Mustangs as desirable and diverse as a 1965 GT 350, 1967 coupe in “Playboy Pink,” 1969 Boss 429, 1978 Mustang II Ghia, 1982 GT, 1996 Cobra and 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca, to name only a few. In addition, movie buffs will enjoy a 1968 Ford Mustang 390 GT replica from the dramatic thriller “Bullitt” and a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback “Eleanor” replica from the 2000 hit film “Gone in Sixty Seconds.”

An automotive exhibit spanning more than eight decades will commemorate the rich history of the North Carolina State Highway Patrol and celebrate its 85th anniversary at the AutoFair.  The special display will feature seven historic patrol vehicles, including a 1929 Harley-Davidson, 1935 Ford roadster, 1947 Buick Special, 1978 Plymouth Fury, 1993 Mustang, 2012 BMW motorcycle, and 2014 Dodge Charger.

More than 50 car club displays, automotive parts and memorabilia for sale or trade, a collector car auction conducted by Dealer Auctions Inc. and more than 1,500 collectible vehicles of all makes and models will be available for sale in the car corral that rings the 1.5-mile superspeedway.

Get your mow-tors running because lawn mower racing is back at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Hosted by OldRide.com, the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association is coming back for one of the biggest lawn mower races of the year. More than 120 mowers in 11 classes will race on a specially constructed dirt oval at the fifth-mile track just outside of Turn 3. Competitors will race on bladeless mowers that run at speeds up to 60 mph.

And of course, racing pigs.
