The Hotchkis Autocross at the NMCA West Event Series is the best deal in performance driving in Southern California.

New three-event autocross series set to deliver a fun and affordable weekend of racing that combines the thrill of autocrossing with the excitement of drag racing at the Auto Club Dragway March 29-30, June 21-22 and October 25-26, 2014.

When most people envision racing muscle cars, visions of two cars tearing down a quarter mile drag strip usually pop into their minds. But thanks to modern suspension technology, muscle cars are no longer confined to just straight-line speed and can now be found at autocross and road racing events across the country. Hotchkis Sport Suspension has been proud to lead the way in making muscle cars handle and has now teamed up with the National Muscle Car Association to deliver an exciting autocross event series for 2014 taking place at all three NMCA West events at the Auto Club Dragway in Fontana, California.

Autocross is all about being able to explore the limits of acceleration, braking, and handling of your vehicle in a fun, safe and controlled environment with no pressure other to just have fun. The Hotchkis Autocross event will deliver that and more with unlimited runs for participants, a Media versus Manufacturers True Street Race, a manufacturers midway, as well as four trophies and ten special recognition plaques. Hotchkis factory demonstration cars will also be on hand giving rides to any spectator that wants to experience autocrossing and feel the exhilaration of a classic muscle car being pushed to its handling limits.

The Hotchkis Autocross at the NMCA West Event Series is the best deal in performance driving in Southern California. Registration for the event is just $50 for a single day (either Saturday or Sunday) and $75 for both days (Saturday and Sunday). Spectator passes are available at the gate for $20 for a one day and $35 for two days while kids under 12 years old are free. Registration starts at 7:30am, track time runs from 9am-4pm on Saturday and 9am-3pm on Sunday, and there is a one hour lunch break at noon.

The Hotchkis Autocross is open to any vehicle that passes a simple safety inspection that checks for leaking fluids or loose parts that can become a hazard on the track. No additional safety equipment beyond the factory seat belts is required because only one car will be on the course at any time. Registration for these events is now open online at www.hotchkis.net/nmca-autocross.html and will also be available the day of the event.
