Classic Industries, a longtime participant in television programs such as Chop, Cut, Rebuild and Car Warriors on SPEED, as well as the original five-season run of Overhaulin’ on TLC, has teamed up with legendary automotive designer Chip Foose to re-launch the series that put automotive restoration on television screens nationwide.
“Overhaulin’ was a truly important show that pushed automotive restoration to the forefront of TV and put the muscle car hobby in front of a new audience.” said Jeff Leonard, Classic Industries CEO. “We’re proud to work with Chip Foose to bring Overhaulin’ back to the air.”
Classic Industries will be a restoration partner for the series, which made its debut on October 1 on Discovery, and will be shown on Discovery’s Velocity network for the fall 2012 television season. The Overhaulin’ team will continue the successful formula of transforming the vehicle of an unsuspecting owner from a clunker into a custom masterpiece under a tight deadline.
A complete schedule for Overhaulin’ can be found at velocity.discovery.com/tv-schedules/weekly.html.
