AACA Fall Meet Underway

The celebration of the 58th Annual AACA Eastern Division Fall Meet gets rolling tonight (Wednesday, October 9) at the AACA Museum with Night at the Museum! This Monte Carlo themed event includes a spectacular and exclusive silent auction, quick-witted “Car Lovers' Trivia”, masterfully crafted artwork displays, car themed comfort food, and cocktails scattered throughout all levels of the Museum.
Guests will be invited to try their luck at the assorted game tables, including blackjack, roulette, craps, and many more! The "chips" won at these tables go towards redeeming raffle tickets for a variety of fabulous prizes! Guests can also test their car knowledge and compete in Car Lovers' Trivia! New this year is the Prueitt Family Volunteer Recognition Award, which will also be presented to one very special volunteer for their dedication and commitment to the AACA Museum.
This year's silent auction gives participants the chance to bid on many unique and exclusive products, services and experiences! One of two VIP packages up for bid is the Amelia VIP Package, which includes two tickets to both the Guardians of Porsche Wine Maker's Dinner and the Mercedes-Benz Gala Dinner, two Club Amelia tickets, admission for two to all seminars, and much more at the exclusive 19th Annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance! Guests can also bid on a chance to win a one-time only exclusive pre-opening tour of The Cammack Tucker Collection, which generously includes a private viewing and guided tour for up to 10 guests of The Cammack Tucker Collection just days prior to the official Gala opening to the public. All proceeds from The Night At The Museum Event benefit the AACA Library & Research Center and the AACA Museum.
The fun continues Thursday and Friday evening because the Museum is open late and will be hosting Beer & Barbecue from 4-8 p.m., available on an a la carte basis. Guests have extended time to enjoy the rare 1929 Sterns-Knight 8-90-J on display along with our featured exhibits Pop Culture & Cars, Beautiful Buicks- Buick 110th Anniversary, and The British Invasion.
Conveniently, there will be a shuttle bus operating Thursday and Friday evenings to accommodate evening visitors to the Museum. The shuttle bus will first stop at The AACA Museum, then the Hersheypark Camping Resort Shuttle Bus stop, thirdly the Hershey Lodge main entrance Bus stop, and lastly at the entrance to the Red Field (denoted by BS on the AACA Fall Meet Map) just off Hersheypark Drive. This route will begin at 5 p.m. and continues on the hour until 9 p.m., the Wolf's Bus should arrive at each stop within 15 minutes of departing from the previous stop depending upon local traffic conditions. Thursday also marks the return of RM's annual Hershey Auction! RM will present 116 vehicles with an emphasis on Brass and Classic Era motor cars. Located at the The Hershey Lodge, this event will be held October 10 and 11 with a daily preview starting at 10a.m. and the auction commencing each evening at 6:30 p.m.
After enjoying the many splendors of the AACA Museum, join in the fun at the AACA Eastern Division Fall Meet which will be held October 9-12 on the grounds and parking lots surrounding Hersheypark and The Giant Center. This four-day event features a flea market with over 9,000 vendor spaces, more than 1,000 car corral spaces including over 900 cars for sale, and approximately 1,300 show cars on display.
