The Gunnison (Colorado) Car Club will present the 24th annual Gunnison Car Show August 19-21. The three-day event includes a cruise-in, free concert and ‘50s style cruise-in on Gunnison’s Main Street. There’s also an open car show, poker run, tour of distant galaxies at the local observatory. The event concludes with the popular breakfast cruise to Crested Butte.

The Gunnison Car Show is one of the few authorized to present the prestigious Lee Iacocca Award. The year’s honorees are Jim and Rick Schmidt of National Parts Depot, who will present a workshop during the show.

The combination of cool cars with the cool Colorado mountains as the backdrop results in an auto enthusiast’s maximum enjoyment. The family friendly event donates proceeds to charitable causes, adding even more value.
