The event is geared toward car enthusiasts and all are encouraged to visit the event along with their cars

Chip Miller was the founder of Carlisle Events and an extremely avid automotive enthusiast.

Fellow enthusiasts are putting together a golf tournament to help raise funds and awareness for the rare and deadly disease Amyloidosis that took Chip’s life. The event is geared toward car enthusiasts and all are encouraged to visit the event along with their cars to the Stone Harbor Golf Club. They can be displayed before golf in the parking lot for the luncheon. This is the inaugural event to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Chip's passing.

Following the golf tournament, we will take these fine automobiles and line them down the 18th hole for attendees to walk around and admire during a catered hors d'oeuvre and cocktail reception followed by an upscale dinner and charity auction. All vehicles are welcome from exotics, race, hot rods, customs, classics & most of all since my father was a tremendous Corvette enthusiast, Corvettes.

The event will be held on Thursday, July 25th starting with an 11:00 am registration which will roll right into the 1:00 pm shotgun-start scramble format golf tournament at the beautiful, prestigious Stone Harbor Golf Club in Cape May Courthouse. The cost is $275 per golfer which includes lunch & 18 holes of golf with refreshments, full use of the practice facilities and locker room, hour and a half hors d'oeuvre & cocktail reception and formal dinner with open bar all evening. If anyone would like to come for just the cocktail reception & dinner with their vehicle(s) or if you might not golf, the cost is $100 per person. All net proceeds will go towards the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation.

When Chip Miller passed away in 2004 from a rare disease, amyloidosis, the Miller family and friends founded the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation to raise awareness about this disease. While the cause is unknown, there are treatments available to manage thesymptoms if there is early detection.

Amyloidosis is a disease that occurs when substances called amyloid proteins build up in the organs. It can affect different organs, and there are different types of amyloid and symptoms, which makes diagnosis challenging. The mission of the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation is to empower people with the knowledge and understanding of Amyloidosis for earlier detection, ensuring a better quality of life for those afflicted with the disease and to help science find the cure.
