Mid America Motorworks, host of Corvette Funfest, the largest Corvette Party in the World, is seeking Corvette-themed recipes for the first-ever Funfest Family Cookbook, bringing together Chief Cheerleader Mike Yager’s passion for Corvettes with his other passion – cooking.
The cookbook will feature recipes from theFunfest Family: guests of the event, industry celebrities and any Corvette enthusiasts who have a passion in the garage as well as in the kitchen. Mid America is encouraging all Corvette enthusiasts to submit an automotive inspired recipe – or a classic recipe with a fun new title – on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/mamotorworks, for the chance to be included in the Funfest Family Cookbook.
Those who submit entries that are included in the final product will receive a complimentary copy of the cookbook at Corvette Funfest, where the book will debut. Everyone is invited to submit a recipe, even without an automotive-related title. Mid America Motorworks will create a name for the recipe and give the entrant credit for the original title. Current submissions include Mike’s Shinoda Slaw, Dipstick Cheese Dip, C7 Sliders and more!
The 20th Annual Corvette Funfest is scheduled for Sept. 19-22 in Effingham, Illinois. Not only is Mid America Motorworks celebrating 20 years of Corvette Funfest, they are also kicking off 40 years of business and honoring the 60th Anniversary of the Corvette. Pre-register at corvettefunfest.com, to be at this Milestone Celebration!
