The 39th Annual Pensacola Rod-Tique Rod Run was held at the beautiful beaches of Pensacola, Florida. The weekend was filled with great street rodders, a free Friday night barbeque with all the trimmings, games, great music, goody bags, and a continuous supply of door prizes for all to enjoy. Cars from all over the south attended the pre-1948 Rod Run. The grand prize was a 350 automatic transmission rebuilt by Hirst Transmissions of Pensacola, along with $250 given away on the money tree. A 50/50 drawing was to raise funds for the Manna Food Bank and the Pensacola Humane Society.
The show and shine kicked off early Saturday morning and cars were judged by all the registered Rod Run participants. Sponsors of the event included Hirst Transmission, O'Reilly Auto Parts, ARC Music & Sound, Bruce Camacho Bail Bondsman, T-Shirt Tommy and J's Pastry Shop. The awards ceremony was held on Sunday morning and each top 10 recipient received a beautiful plaque with stenciled art by T-Shirt Tommy
