The Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, Illinois, is offering a great way to drive dad crazy.  On Sunday, June 17, the prestigious outdoor shopping destination will once again transform into a classic car lover’s paradise as it plays host to the 44th Annual Father’s Day Classic Car Show.  More than 75,000 visitors are expected to attend this one-day-only event where more than 90 antique, classic, vintage and specialty automobiles will be on display throughout the park-like grounds of Oakbrook Center.  Admission is free and vehicles will be on display from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Presented by the Greater Illinois Region of the Classic Car Club of America in partnership with Oakbrook Center, the Father’s Day Classic Car Show is the largest open-air show of its kind in the Midwest. “The Classic Car Show has been a Father’s Day tradition at our center for more than four decades,” said Suzanne Cook-Beres, senior marketing manager for Oakbrook Center.  “Each year the show attracts generations of car enthusiasts and families from around the world who share a passion for the innovation and nostalgia of these historic machines.”
The classic vehicles on display range from the earliest vehicles to cars from the 1970s.  Highlights this year include: 1927 Cadillac 314 Series; 1962 Jaguar Mark II Saloon; 1937 Cadillac 7529 -4 door Convertible; 1929 Hupmobile Century; 1934 Pierce Arrow 1240 A Convertible Coup; 1971 Citroen DS 21 Pallas; 1931 Packard 840 Duel Cowl Sport Phaeton; 1930 Packard 1108 V12 Victoria; 1960 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz.
