Trucks and truck parts really pay the bills at Johnson’s Mustang and Truck Parts in Chesapeake, Virginia.
There are around 1,300 trucks of all kinds, located in the 10-acre yard. It has always been the main focus of the business since its beginning in 1972.
Mustangs serve as the exception to the truck rule. Around 50 Mustangs and Fords are kept in one section of the yard simply because they are a personal favorite of yard owner Jimmy Johnson. This part of the business is kept going simply for the love of the hobby. Mustangs make up about 80 percent of the inventory. The rest is a mix of Ford family products like Fairlanes, Mavericks, and even a Mercury Cougar.
Out in the front of the office, there are a few more Fords that can be sold as projects or parted out, whichever comes first. Whether you need a Ford part or a truck part or both, you may find the answer right here.
