Ford Racing lays crumb trail to next-gen Mustang

One of the things that make Christmas so much fun is the anticipation of what is in store.
Ford Racing has harnessed the potential of this force and offered up little bits of information designed to lead the Mustang faithful to a better understanding of what the 2015 Mustang entails.
Their latest crumb of goodness comes in the form of a Facebook post, where they offered up a photo of the next-gen’s engine, sitting in a test facility and wearing what appears to be an Eaton TVS-style supercharger, possibly a 2300 version. This would be a change from the Whipple supercharger versions that have been used by Ford Racing in the past.
A photo might be worth a thousand words, but Ford understands that to create a hunger, you can’t give them everything they want, so they’ve only given this brief description to go with their photo, “A sneak peek at the Ford Racing super charger development for the 2015 Ford Mustang GT 5.0.”
Surely that’s enough to keep enthusiasts salivating on dealer’s showrooms.
