The 2015 Corvette Z06 and the all-new C7.R represent the next evolution in the Corvette Stingray, the industry’s most awarded car in 2013.

Guessing what hides under a healthy helping of camouflage and colors that appear to be sea-faring ice-scapes has been a favorite pastime of editors and enthusiasts alike. The new Corvette Z06 and C7.R race car are surely feeling the hot lights of prognosticators far and wide, like Motor Trend, who through sources and grainy images surmises that the next Z-car will have around 650 hp, while other sources claim 620 hp and 650 lb/ft of torque. Thankfully, GM has, in an attempt to prevent internet shutdown due to image search overloads and info scourings, decided to put all guesstimates to rest and finally reveal the next Vette. Hereby allowing all those forward-thinkers to focus on the next best thing to yet be offered from the GM Tech Center.

The reveal of the Z06 and the C7.R will be live streamed on Monday, January 13 during the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The live stream will be available at beginning at 9:30 a.m. EST with a special event leading into the press conference, which begins at 10 a.m. EST in the Chevrolet Exhibit at COBO Hall.
